I'm rolling thunder, pouring rain ...
So we're hitting the road today to what might be one of my least-favorite ballparks in Arizona -- the Brewers' stadium in Maryvale, which might well be one of my least-favorite neighborhoods here in Arizona as well. But enough with my complaining.
This could be our first chance today to see former Padres' closer Trevor Hoffman against his former team. The Padres played the Brewers early in Cactus League play here in Peoria but Hoffman, apparently, doesn't take many road trips.
So we'll see if Hoffy makes an appearance. One thing we know for near certain is Hoffman will not enter the game to his familiar Hells Bells by AC/DC. I guess that happened once this spring and he wasn't entirely excited about it. I agree, it's a regular season thing.
Anyway, coming off that stirring victory over Korea last night -- was that as painful for anyone else to watch other than me? -- here's the lineup the Padres will trot out against the True Blue Brew Crew.

Yeah, it was an interesting game last night. I can't wait for this game today. I figure that Trevor's gotta face us sometime, he might was well do it when it doesn't matter, like in the Spring Training game today! Argh. I miss him so much! Go Padres!!
